¤%&#"!! music industry

May 31st, 2009

Try watching some of the videos from Robyn at http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Robynmusic&view=videos "This video is not available in your country" My ass!!! If it is available on Youtube, why on earth should they control it to only certain countries? It's stupid like the DVD region zones. A very fast Google-search shows me ways around this http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2008/04/watch-restricted-youtube-videos.html, just like you can buy a DVD region free player.

Can't see the reason why to use such limitations when each time "they" try to implement them, workaround are available on the fly...

Videos published on Youtube

May 27th, 2009

Have recently published some videos on Youtube. Four videos of "my" team from last Sunday - Nordmarka Rundt http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=043F2C233862B2F0

The last one from Råskinnet, my friend Anders in the lead role

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

May 20th, 2009

Or "Menn som hater kvinner". Went to see this evening together with Bendik. We had a good time. Ok, sometimes during the movie I got a bit annoyned, such as when the killer is telling all the sleazy details. Why would he do that instead of just killing the journalist at once. But, not a thing to be bothered with when at the cinema, just lay back and be enjoyed.

Annoying!!!

May 19th, 2009

Was browsing through the tv channels yesterday when I started watching "Broom" (what a stupid name). It was supposed to be on air from 20.30 to 21.00, but at 20.52 it ended, giving Tv2 eight minutes for commercials. Screw it!!

Various pictures from my cellphone

May 17th, 2009

A couple of months this winter I had no USB-cable for my cell phone. Because of that I was not able to transfer pictures to my pc. Did some research and found http://www.mytrendyphone.no to have the best offer way cheaper than what I had to pay in a store in Oslo. Telebutikken wanted to suck more than 400,- NOK out of me, while MyTrendyPhone wanted 128,- pluss 35 for sending it!!! Believe it or not. Anyhow, got it now, and was able to transfer the pictures from my phone. (Enlarge)

Starting from top left, taken when we where at Spidsbergseter in March. Then you can see my friend Loy (Roy) doing a proper job changing his tyres. The picture in the middle is when we had most snow this winter, someone wanting to buy the newspaper nearby the subway station using skis. Lower left we see building workers just outside my office struggling to move a fireplace they had teared down. Last one, Kent using my phone taking a picture of Loy when we where at Sahara to eat

If you have a kid

...I guess you also have had to rewind the toilet paper...several times...

By the way, did you know "American taste for soft toilet roll 'worse than driving Hummers'"

No more remote control

May 14th, 2009

My son thought that the toilet was a suitable place to put the remote control for our television, could not quite agree. So now we don't have a remote to the tv either. The remote to the tuner was lost a while ago

Jam out of date

I wanted lingonberry together with the dinner yesterday, but a closer look at the bucket made me change my mind...and I also realized that I should check more stuff in the refrigerator :-)

Trimming the hedge

May 4th, 2009

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours trimming the "Norwegian Spruce" hedge at Vestreng. As the top left picture shows it was clearly a need. The middle picture is me on top of the ladder. As the upper right picture shows the hedge is fairly wide, so my knees are hurting a bit today because of the stress the got when I leaned over to cut all the branches. Quite happy with the result. New set of wheels for my car

May 2nd, 2009

Had to buy a new set of wheels earlier this week when one of the old ones got broken when hitting a hole in the road. Original Ford wheels cost so much that buying completely new ones did not cost _to much_ more. Still kept it as 16", and they where one of the cheapest they had, but I'm pleased. At least I will now see a big difference when changing to summer tyres. Bought four new tyres as well from Continental.

My bike is mounted on the roof because I did Enebakk Rundt yesterday. Had to skip doing it as planned with 15 timer'n, due to the gastroscopy on Wednesday I'm not feeling to good, so instead I had a nice ride with 18 timer'n.

Ghost Dog in concert

May 2nd, 2009

Yesterday Petter and I went to see Ghost Dog in concert. I've previous blogged that I really enjoy their music and that is still true, but yesterdays concert was a bit of a disappointment. For some reason I don't think Ivan, the vocalist, did not use his full potential. Whether he was drunk or just had a bad day I'm actually not sure, but for some reason I think he could have been singing better than he did. But, still, it was a good concert...
