I just parked here

January 30th, 2015

Old one, happened a couple of weeks ago, but since this is somewhat my diary I just had to post this picture. The conditions was somewhat tricky that day. When I came driving I saw the car parked just outside the road. At first I thought it was someone working, but I soon realized that the car was stuck in the ditch.

Hoping for cold weather while preparing the forest road. If driving frequently when the weather is cold most of the ditches and the wet marsh holes should freeze making it better for the forest machines to drive fully loaded with timber.

My latest book - "Thor" Thor Hushovd

January 15th, 2015

Thor Hushovd, former Norwegian pro-cyclist, his self-biography. Read it, was a struggle, wanted to put it away several times, but as Thor tells how he did struggle with his races, never wanting to quit - it did manage as well to finish it. Got a bit better at the end, but for instance reading about him moving from France to Switzerland sending his furniture in a truck and taking the rest in his Porsche Cayenne...why would he want me to know that???

Starting off with good intentions

January 2nd, 2015

Starting the new year with good intentions, had a run yesterday. Quite enjoyable, but only thanks to my pair of icebugs (fear no evil, I get nothing in return for linking to them :-) ). A lot of ice, both on- and offroad, but using the icebugs makes it similar to running on a hot summer day.
