Mongozo Banana and Coconut beer

February 16th, 2007

At Ultra today I bought to bottles of beer, Mongozo Banana and Mongozo Coconut beer. It is......special....I would say... The coconut beer was the best, not meaning that it was good... http://www.mongozo.org/engels/products.php

Enjoying myself

February 16th, 2007

After returning from Paris, I slept this morning until I woke up by myself. Had a sweaty night, but hopefully I'm all right now. One good thing about not eating properly for four days in a row, I was veining in just under 80 kg this morning. Have not happened since I had to quit running because of all my marathons.

And now I'm enjoying my lunch break, with a valentine cookie provided to me by Elin (nice??) and a cup of tea while listening to Emmylou and Mark http://www.maximonline.com/entertainment/reviews.aspx?p_id=11817 I can't anything else but admit that my knowledge in music has been broadened since we joined our cd collections.

Enjoy

Report from day three in Paris

February 14th, 2007

A day like the other days, got up quite early, went to "Centre de formation" and came back to the hotel at around eight in the evening. And since I have had tummy bugs I haven't been eating to much. Anyhow, the first evening I had this beer http://www.k1664.co.uk/

While searching for the beers I have been drinking I stumbled over this blog "Knut Albert's Beer Blog" A Norwegian guy actually http://beerblog.motime.com I have also had Grimbergen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grimbergen_(beer) which was the best.

This morning while eating my very limited breakfast, I had to wonder, the only bread left - is it really a bread, no it is not. Why do they want to eat something stuffed with chocolate early in the morning...??

Breakfast

Slept for nine hours

February 14th, 2007

Quite a lot for me, I slept for nine continuous hours, I feel better today, hopefully the tummy bugs has went away, but on the other hand I don't feel any hunger...

Not much to report

February 13th, 2007

At the hotel, in front of the computer, eating crackers, which is the only thing I dare eat due to my tummy bugs...doh!! Imagine that was hard, when having a presentation earlier today and suddenly felt the urge to throw up...spit flodded in my mouth and I had to say.."I think I need a five minute break boys..."

First day in France

February 11th, 2007

I did arrive here at Noisy-Le-Grand http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noisy-le-Grand a couple of hours ago. Had to go straight out and get some food, since it had been quite a long journey even though it is not that far from Oslo. Due to weather conditions at Gardermoen we where delayed, and the whole journey took almost 7 hours from I left home. No wonder I was hungry.

I took the train from the airport

Yellow Pages leading the way

February 8th, 2007

Supposed to attend a meeting at work today and needed to find the way. I used the map service at Gule Sider (Yellow Pages) and the result was kinda funny. The trip which by car should not take more than 5 minutes instead is stipulated to 14 minutes. Why? Take a close look at the picture, Start and Stop are quite close, but the route is drawn all the way out to Tusenfryd just to make a turn back. Click on the picture to view it in full size.

Roadmap

The whole route can be found here http://gulesider...
