I learned quite a lot of the fundamentals in Islam, but have in mind when reading it that it is not a neutral book. By this I mean that it does take side, for instance when mentioning the crusades it is more like &#8220;the horrible crusades&#8230;&#8221;. I had hoped for a more like a encyclopedia form of the text, but anyhow, it is a short book, easy to read and therefore worth spending time reading. <\/p>\n<p>I tried to find yet another book about Islam in the book store, but I gave up. It seemed to me that there are two categories, and only two &#8220;Why I love Islam&#8221; and &#8220;Why I hate Islam&#8221;. I want a book where I can understand more about why things are the way they are, not &#8220;Osama bin Laden is a muslim, hence all muslims are bad&#8221;.
