With my single speed bike I headed for Vestreng in +2, rain and occasionally strong headwinds. And when average speed is limited to about 20 km\/h I was quite cold after 48 km. Got to shorter rides as well on Thursday and Friday, but with small changes in the weather it was not pleasant at all.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I mounted my Thule rack, together with the summer tires, so now the car is ready for yet another cycling season.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image_block\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/cyclingseason10_car.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/cyclingseason10_car.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"303\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Yesterday evening I mounted brand new <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shimano_Pedaling_Dynamics\">SPD pedals<\/a> (the old ones are on my commuter bike) and a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onetri.com\/selle-italia-bike-saddle-p-3446.html\">Selle Italia SLR bike saddle<\/a>. Needed a new saddle since the old one soaked up water if it was raining hard, reason &#8211; to soft, who needs a soft saddle?<\/p>\n<div class=\"image_block\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/cyclingseason10_bike.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/cyclingseason10_bike.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>And today Espen and I enjoyed the nice weather and was out together for about two hours. Had a nice ride to Lillestr\u00f8m, via Skedsmokorset, Hellerudsletta and back home.
