{"id":3192,"date":"2010-04-23T19:41:44","date_gmt":"2010-04-23T19:41:44","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2026-04-18T22:54:22","modified_gmt":"2026-04-18T22:54:22","slug":"ships-at-the-harbor-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hellem.org\/wblog\/?p=3192","title":{"rendered":"Ships at the harbor today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On my way to work today I had to stop and take a picture of <a href=\"http:\/\/no.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/KNM_%C2%ABFridtjof_Nansen%C2%BB\">KNM \u00abFridtjof Nansen\u00bb<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/no.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/KNM_%C2%ABHelge_Ingstad%C2%BB\">KNM \u00abHelge Ingstad\u00bb<\/a> down at the harbor. <\/p>\n<div class=\"image_block\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/forsvaret.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/forsvaret.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>There was also another ship just outside <a href=\"http:\/\/no.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aker_Brygge\">Aker Brygge<\/a>. Had some trouble reading the name of the ship on the picture, so I had to do some investigation to figure it out. So, checking the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oslohavn.no\/english\/\">Oslo Port Authority<\/a> website. I managed to miss &#8220;todays calls&#8221; at once, so I found http:\/\/marinetraffic.com\/ais Quite similar to http:\/\/www.flightradar24.com\/. Marinetraffic showing vessel positions, you can view all types of vessels, from small fishing boats to big cargo vessels. Could not find the vessel, but back to Oslo Port Authority I found &#8220;todays calls&#8221; and there the name of the ship &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/marinetraffic.com\/ais\/shipdetails.aspx?MMSI=353612000\">Songa Winds<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image_block\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/songa_winds.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hellem.org\/blog\/media\/blogs\/new\/2010\/04\/songa_winds.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On my way to work today I had to stop and take a picture of KNM \u00abFridtjof Nansen\u00bb and KNM \u00abHelge Ingstad\u00bb down at the harbor.
