Escape from boredom

Preparing for making the concrete floor, having to dig out the gravel first. Everyone, including my sister-in-law did their share of work.

It has happened before, 7 years ago on the 4’th of May I was not able to drive due to snow, but this year on the 11’th of May, so 2017 beats 2010. #3 said to me “Dad, the trampoline is not broken, it just isn’t working today!!”.

And yes, it makes sense when the police warns you about driving with summer tyres, it might actually be slippery

Yesterday it was children’s day at Eksismoa http://www.nmkah.no/ Lovely day, really nice weather and a lot of children waiting in line wanting to try out motorcycles and ATV’s.

Weather forcast said rain today so yesterday I mowed the lawn for the first time this year. Not so much for the grass being to long, but I did not mowe it last autumn so it was pretty much dead grass from last year I needed to get rid of. Easiest was then to mowe it. Then it was much easier to rake the lawn. Did also get some help when doing that.

After having been away for more than a week our cat suddenly came home again. She ate a lot and when done she was totally relaxed.

Two days ago, Bysprinten Mosjøen 2017, for the 11’th time with my mother in the arrangement committee each year it was finally time for me to actually be there. Had a great time, nice weather all the time made it a superb event.

The screw holes holding the bucket had become worn out and since #3 wanted to use it right there and now and I had no disks available I had to find alternative solutions. So, found an old fish ball tin can, did cut of the bottom and did bend it around the bucket. Voila!! Ready for digging…

Two days ago, no snow, yesteday morning, plenty of snow

The last couple of days, done some garden tending. First pulling up a tree root, no problem when I have a tractor and plenty of tow rope.

#3 helping me out cutting the apple trees

Front loader is such a Swiss army knife, can be used for anything, also multiple garden tending tasks.

Always taking care of my own security, what could possibly go wrong here?
