Lakselv day two
Had to walk to the center of Lakselv to get some food earlier today along this route
Out into no man’s land
Heading the other way, for the center
Cross country skiing
The clouds being a bit “blown” by the wind hitting the mountain and going straight up.
Travelling to Lakselv
Leaving home yesterday in very nice wather. Very much fog, created some incredible scenery when passing Fetsund towards Lillestrøm. The iPhone camera is not capable of catching the light how it really was, but you kinda get the understanding I hope
About five hours in Tromsø, a bit less due to pretty much snow casuing a delay for about 40 minutes, but well down my friend Kent picked me up.
And we went to Anna and Andre to visit them, and I got to taste the Juleøl from Mack, a good one!
Departure to Lakselv was 22:15, but it got delayed and we did not leave Tromsø before 23:00, so I had plenty of time to walk around and enjoy Tromsø airport.
Winter at Lakselv, windy and cold.
Lakselv by night, picture from my room at Lakselv hotell
When coming home becomes a bummer
At Gardermoen yesterday
Just for the record: I did notify Europark and also used “Hvem eier bilen“, but…if you are well down in your third beer somewhere far, far away…what can you do other then dread the moment you get back to your car?
Gingerbread house at work
Windy today
Proper use of non-alcoholic beer
"Årets Avsløysar"
“Årets Avsløysar”, should translate into something like “Locum farmer of the year”. My dad was awarded that for Nordland 2015. See more at http://www.landbrukstenester.no/haustsamling2015/
The long walk (and bus ride)
Two days ago, first day of somewhat real winter conditions on the road. Had been cold for a couple of days, then started raining => Booom! Icy conditions and total caos in the morning rush hour. I was supposed to take the bus to Lillestrøm, had a doctor appointment so I had to be there on time. As usual cetting close to Fetsund, traffic congestion, and it was a total standstill. I realized that I would not make my appointment, so I put on my reflective jacket and got out of the bus and walked 3 km’s to the train station. Caught the train in time, long before the bus even passed the bridge at Fetsund.
A not so good picture from when I started walking
Worst thing was than when taking the bus home the same day, I spent two hours…jezz!!
