Escape from boredom

When up north I had a brand new Golf 1.2 TSI with 85hp as a rental car. Did not bother to take a picture of the car itself, everyone knows a Golf, but I was a bit impressed when it came to fuel consumption. 4.9 driving from Mosjøen to Hemnesberget. I did actually manage to get down to 4.7 as well. The car was no fun to drive at all, passing other cars was not easy, but when driving up steep hills such as Bustneslia and Sjonfjellet, driving all the way in fifth gear was no problem. I found that quite impressing since it has only 85hp.

Still well beyond the max possible score which is 375, but still – both bonus and yahtzee for both of us.

At work last week, a major one…someone has been a bit desparate. At least no one else had taken the parking spot.

At moments like this, I do!

Learned that windfall means getting an unexpected large amount of money. So, the tree is not a windfall as we would say in Norwegian “vindfall”, but a tree felled by the wind. Notice the red marking, I did mark the trail two weeks ago, and now the tree is blocking the trail instead. Need to bring my chain saw one day.

Mowed the lawn yesterday for the first time this year. Checking my blog I see that I did it a week earlier last year.

A job that should have been started a long time ago, but never to late. The good thing is that I easily see the progress.

Elin removing ticks from one of our cats a couple of days ago. She has afterwards had to remove yet another one from the other cat as well.
