Using the spinning bikes at work here the other day, all alone so I used the instructor bike so I could control the music as well. There I noticed the royal view from the bike – I could see the royal castle from there.
To my right I could also spot the employees working across the central station doing some stretching outside on the roof.
Last weekend it was time to prepare the motorcycle for a new season. Charged the battery and mounted it, engine started at first try, all as it should be.
First ride on Tuesday to work. All fine until I was about to park the bike when I noticed that the battery indicator was flashing. Stopped it and tried to start it again, but no, not enough power on the battery. What to do now? Bought a charger at Claes Ohlson and charged it during the day. I also realized that I had forgotten to connect the ground wire, could that be the cause? After work when heading home I mounted the battery and hoped for the best. Pressed the start button and …. click … dead, no electricity. What could I have done wrong, could it be that the blue wire was not the ground wire (“Husqvarna TE610 not charging”). But in my frustration I came to touch the positive wire and suddenly the display light up. So, disconnected it and connected it again, mounted the seat and tried to start – YES! Drove home, same thing happened after a while, no power on the battery, but at least I could drive home (just hoping I had enough petrol).
At home I recharged the battery, but before doing that I found some sandpaper and used it on both the poles and the wires. The day after when mounting the battery I also used a good amount of WD-40, fired up the engine and from that day no problem.
Finished trimming the spruce hedge this year. Had not done it last year so it was a pretty hard job this time, takes a couple of hours. It is starting to get as high as it can be allowed to, so I need to cut the top of it pretty hard each year now.

Had to replace the headlight bulb on my Mondeo, which is quite easy and one of the things that the engineers at Ford actually has planned very well. The most difficult part is actually to remove the grill, not because that itself is difficult, but I’m always afraid that I will damage it. But, it is just to be firm when pulling it off, and then it is removed within two seconds. The whole operation is done in less than 3-4 minutes.
What better things to do early on a Saturday morning than convert some rust found on the backside of our washing machine. First a bit of sanding, then sacrificing my tooth brush on the Biltema Rust Converter altar. Yet another every day problem conquered – one that I would prefer really not to care about, but…had to.

Have borrowed a forestry trailer to move timber which will be fire wood at some time. Not all, selling some of it, the pile below.

I had to pick one load a long way from the road, quite muddy conditions – did at some point almost got stuck, but finding some fir branches and placing them in front of the wheels did help.
All done that day.
Two days ago the sun was 87% blocked by the moon, since the weather was very cloudy it was not much to mention, slightly darker that was all. Today, snow, the boys find it much more exciting.
Yesteday while connecting the mower I suddenly heard a sound which I at first could not understand where it came from.

Did not bother to disconnect the mower when I needed to move the trailer, once again the front loader is a handy tool.
