Escape from boredom

Summer started a week ago…

Bought a pair of led lamps about a month ago, hoping for an easy job mounting them, but no. Turned out that there was a lot of rust on the roof, so that needed to be repaired. Now that is done, and I have mounted the rear lights.

Trying out old traditions, today extracts from the birch tree. Tasted like…water.

There are many ways to remove rust from metal, here are four of them using stuff from your kitchen. I will not be using any of them when removing rust from the roof of my tractor. Anyways, with the help from my neighbor the roof was lifted of earlier today. So now I have a Valmet 865s cabriolet…

Picture taken last Wednesday. The guys who leases our field is doing maintenance, they had to fix a leak in the field drainage. While doing that they made a ditch for us behind the barn as well.

We have had visitors on our field the past few weeks, several swans have landed there and spent the day.

Cleaning the drain pipes, no job to big, no job to small for this truck. Someone suggested that I could use the garden hose…I would beg to differ – the pressure washer on that truck…the noise alone from the drain when they started flushing proved that this was a serious tool way better than any garden hose.

Cleaning up the barn – 55 wheels (rims and tyres), some tyres, truck wheels, truck tyres and 3 tractor tyres.

Figured out Black Death was even more suitable than beer.
