Spinning to Noah And The Whale

Yesterday, spinning to Noah And The Whale

While writing this I found a review of the album saying

. I gave it three out of ten for the first two songs and the last one. All the music inbetween is aimed at 12-15 year old girls. I thought I was listening to the best of Australian Idol. Songs have no depth and are aim at a quick buck!!

Utter crap and is the worst album of my collection. The only positive is that I also bought the new strokes album which is gold.

I do no think it was that bad, meaning, it was easy listening, but I must admit that I got a bit annoyed of the lyrics. And that does not happen often, me paying attention to the lyrics.

Spinning to Astroburger

Found the album on the newly released list on Wimp, needed an album that did not last for more than about 30 minutes, spot on. Have heard of them before, did not remember that I had heard them, not my cup of tea.

Spinning to El Cuero

Yesterday I was spinning to El Cuero and their album A Glimmer of Hope. Ok, it is good music, no doubt, but…for listening to while spinning, not my cup of tea. Instead I would recommend the album if you where to drive for many, many hours in a car and then when you get to Hardangervidda, Finnmarksvidda or somewhere like that and you will be driving straight ahead for a long time…put on El Cuero. But driving fast on a twisty road, find something else.

Instead I would really recommend The White Buffalo. I’ve been listening to his album Once Upon a Time in the West many, many times the last week. Good stuff!

Early morning at Ulsrudvann

Woke up at 06 this morning, and since the weather was so nice I decided to go for an early bike ride, had to be home before 08:30 since Elin had planned to go to SATS. So no mercy, a quick breakfast and then out on my bike. And what a beautiful morning, stopped at Ulsrudvannet and took two pictures before heading towards Klemetsrud, Grønmo and then back via Østmarkskapellet. Hoping for more mornings like that to come.
