Night on the town with the boys

Yesterday I was out with Kent, and Loy also joined us for a couple of hours. First Kent and I wanted to be crazy, so we decided to try out a restaurant that I had seen here the other day: “Sahara Beduin Restaurant“. Very ok restaurant, but we where not crazy at all, it was crowded. It has been mentioned in the newspapers with good reviews, guess that is the reason.

Afterwards we went to Last Train and had a couple of beers before Loy had to go home. Then Kent and I went to the cinema to see Jernanger.

Premiere of Død Snø

Last Friday we had tickets to the premier of the Norwegian movie called “Død Snø”

Described on Youtube as

A group of eight friends drives to a cabin in northern Norway where German troops where slaughtered by angry locals living there in 1945. Now the undead zombie Nazi soldiers feast on whoever comes there way.

…so definitely not a movie for the big masses 🙂

Top three WRC moments of all time

If I where to make a list of the top three greates WRC moments of all time, the 360 that Gilees Panizzi did in Rally Catalunya in 2002 is guaranteed to be on that list. I remember when I was watching it on tv I immediately stood up on the floor shouting out of pure joy.

Dilatant fluids

Yesterday Bendik and Line visited us. We served dinner and dessert, when I was about to finish the dessert – home-made fruit soup I use Potato Flour. Bendik then asked if I had tried to make shear thickening fluid out of water and potato fluid. I had never done that, since I did not even know what it was. So, we had to try. So with the perfect mix of potato flour and water you get a fluid which makes the spoon goes smoothly through it if you stir slowly, but if you do it fast the spoon almost gets stuck.

Funny, but not sure how to use this in real life 🙂
