…Selvfølgelig kan det være kjedelig
Å sitte stille i timevis
Men nå som jeg har blitt en voksen mann
Føles lenger ikke turen så lang…
…wonder why 🙂
Heading north together with Sigurd and Sverre
Quite sure that the weather today must have been at least 20 degrees warmer today than exactly one year ago. Picture taken at Bjørkelangen earlier today, my son Anders together with two friends running out on the field trying to chase down the kite. Weather was really nice, 13 celsius. Pretty strong wind, but good for kiting.
Spending some days up north, came here on Friday afternoon. Spent the evening at my cousins Andre’s place, enjoying the work of his employer Mack – for example Høstøl
Early Saturday morning I headed to Senja to visit my grandmother, and then back to Tromsø yesterday – Sunday, to enjoy the evening Russian style: Toast with anchovy and cucumber with vodka on the side.
Then this morning, still in Tromsø, seeing snow for the first time this winter.
Tried out Jacobsen Dark Lager
Jacobsen Original Dark Lager is based on the oldest recipe in the Carlsberg archives – JC Jacobsen’s original recipe of 1854.
and Tyrrells Hand Coocked English Crisps. Bought the crisps only based on the criteria price – the most expensive they had at Meny 🙂 Lightly sea salted it says, and yes…lightly it is…to lightly, give me more taste! But the lager, mmmmmmmmmm…beer
Before heading off to Berlin me and Espen spent an evening playing Grand Turismo, eating Thai takaway and trying out beer from the Atna brewery. Stabburøl and Nakenbad, both pretty ok – might buy it several times, but I won’t hunt it down all over town so to speak.
Tested during our vacation week in Sweden, the Hell beer from Jämtlands bryggeri and the God Lager from Nils Oscar. Enjoyed both, but as scary as it is…I found the Hell beer being the best lager
Inspired by “Jackass på lavt nivå. While trying to change the light bulb, the glass got separated from the electrical foot contact. So trying to remove it without switching of the power…I switched off the power.”.
And then planking
Drinking milk with due date more than two weeks ago…
Had to try it out. Opened the bottle and had a taste, did not enjoy it, but must admit that after a while it tasted better. Maybe it is like wine, it need to “rest” before drinking…
Bought it at ICA Linderud Senter, seen it elsewhere. Read about the aile here http://www.blacksheepbrewery.com/beers/holy_grail_bottled_beer/
Yesterday Elin had her birthday and I made a banana cake. Got thumbs up by my parents-in-law, even Elin who initially said that she did not like banana cake enjoyed it.
And today on the 25’th of March it is the Waffle day here in Norway (and many other countries as well) – read more about waffles at Wikipedia, much I did not know. I have celebrated the day making oat waffles. Elin is skeptic, but she have not tasted them yet.
