Microscopic step for mankind, a giant leap for me

Pictures taken yesterday morning. The first one showing our bread knife and the toaster and no bread. That’s good news since I have used my right arm cutting the bread all by myself (and then eat it)

And here you have me, very pleased since I have managed to put on a normal t-shirt all by myself! Good thing after having spent the past two weeks wearing t-shirt of wool, very warm, but so stretchy that I managed to put them on. My arm keeps getting better and better each day…

Moon above Oslo

Giving yesterdays try a second chance, this time out on the balcony setting the camera on the railing to avoid movements. Tested various shutter speed and exposure times, and have used Picasa to make a movie out all the pictures.

Morning picture

Woke up quite early this morning due to the pain from my shoulder and got to see the moon just over the horizont. Not that easy to take the picture with only one arm and 30 seconds of shutter speed…so here you can see Oslo by night (morning) while moving the camera.

The Fog of War

Spent the evening in front of the tv instead of going to bed early…damn! But, it was worth it – Swedish Television showed the movide “The Fog of War

The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara is a 2003 American documentary film about the life and times of former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara.

Very interesting to hear McNamara telling the story himself. I am sure that McNamara wasn’t flawless, but that does not make it a good movie worth spending time seeing.
