How to kill your Facebook account

Spent some time on Linkedin this evening, ending up reading Stephan Seliger’s blog http://aixpi.com (Stephan is one of my connections on Linkedin). In one of his earlier posts this year he writes that he has deleted his account on Facebook. I immediately became interested since I was only aware of that you could deactivate it. Read Stephans post about him deleting his account, where he has also provided a link to the description on how to actually do it http://aixpi.com/archives/2008/06/03/i-finally-killed-my-facebook-account/

We have bought a video camera

On Thursday I ordered a new video camera from the online store Netonnet http://www.netonnet.no/ Saved about 600,- NOK compared to http://www.fotovideo.no. We received the camera yesterday so no reason what so ever for us not to recommend Netonnet.

Did some testing yesterday, and I was able to edit recordings from the camera on my laptop computer. This being the reason for not buying a HD-camera. If we had bought a HD-camera we would have needed to buy a new bleeding edge computer to be able to edit the recordings.

The camera being a Canon FS11

That’s five minutes of…

That’s five minutes of my life I will never get back…I spent some time watching a few of those videos at http://podcast.no/ The reason for it is as simple as me having taken my Ipod out of the drawer again. I found the Pyro podcast at NRK http://www.nrk.no/podkast/, then I Google’d “Podcast” and ended up at podcast.no

Seeing Tone Damli Aaberge drinking coffee…jezz, I’ve got better things to do.

Should I claim royalties?

This picture is a screenshot from when I was watching a Dutch tractor video. The video is just a collage of various pictures. I was just about to click on another video when I noticed something I thought I had seen before…and yes…that was true, the picture was taken by no other than me!

I did post the picture earlier in this post

And another thing, from a msn conversation I had with Atle right afterwards

Atle sier:
Rune Hellem sier:
du kødder
Rune Hellem sier:
ha-ha

Kent Ståle being my friend Kent, who me and Atle met when doing our IT-studies

Great moments in human interaction

Found these four videos – really funny, the two first ones being the most funny ones.

Forest tending last weekend

Even more forest tending last weekend. Now it is a newly planted area that needs tending. But first I had to do some road maintenance as well, it was about to disappear. Left the branches on the road to make the ground more solid when I later will drive the tractor there.

One big problem, I lost the lifting tong, it is somewhere on the ground in the upper right picture…

Ice Road Truckers

On Thursday Elin was out on the town, and me and Anders was home alone. After he had gone to bed I turned on my computer and found my headset and to Alaska I went. I guess I spent almost one and a half hour watching Ice Road Truckers. I logged on to http://www.history.com/minisites/iceroadtruckers and watched the videos available there. Men are men when they drive their heavy load on the river and lake ice, even on the open sea ice all the way up north. From Inuvik and then to the far away places on rough roads.
