Maybe not meant for running

Out running today, a bit wet I must say and also a _bit_ mud. Our neighbors has done their share of forestry work as well, pretty wet conditions which again has caused the forest road to be just a sea of mud. All up to my knees sometimes when trying to run there, needs a warm summer day or two to dry up…

They are now finished, now all that remains is to get the timber out to where it should be picked up. Actually they did finish last Tuesday, pictures from Wednesday when me and the kids took a walk to check out the new view. But first, Iver had to get a close look at this icicle.

While out running today I did check out the current status of the forestry work. They have now started cutting in Steindalen, the first part is very easy accessible.

Simply because this particular machine is the smallest one, not suited for threes of that size. And since that being the only one here, it was not a problem until the last day.

I did cut while the machine used the crane to make sure that the three did not fall in the wrong direction. I must admit that I feared that I had to do it all by myself, while the professionals where watching…
