Findadeath.com

Hello, Death Hags.

Welcome to Findadeath.com.

So you want to know where this nonsense comes from?

I’ve been interested in death since I was a tyke. My mother recalls taking me to a funeral of a young family member when I was 3 years old. On their way to the grave site, I noticed the tent set up, and asked, “Mom, are we going to the circus?” I suppose in a way, we were.

Damn Yankees – High Enough

The song sucks – but it’s very retro, and I remember it from High School. Guys singing with a pitch close to breaking glass. A fan site found here http://www.lockgen.com/damnyankees/

Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over yesterday?
Can you take me high enough?
It’s never over and yesterday’s just a memory.

I was running
I was running for the door
Realizing now or never
I was running back for more
Oo, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

My weekend

…my weekend has been packed with a lot of different music experiences. Yesterday started with Elin playing at Olaf Ryes Plass at Musikkens Dag in Oslo http://www.musikkfest.no/. Then we loaded the car and went straight to Skullerud Grendehus where Bondebabes performed http://www.bondebabes.com. But I had to admit that the best part, was yet to come: Rune Rudberg http://www.runerudberg.no. It was a real Hil-Billy party hil-billy, a lot of liquor, beer, fighting – just as in the really old days – every other place than at Skullerud Grendehus where this is common as for today. It was real fun, and I’m glad that I have experienced it!

Sunday – PeTre Session with Sofian, Animal Alpha, Magnet and at last BigBang!! We had a really good time, meet friends and all – fun!

Pink Floyd – Nobody Home

I got a little black book with my poems in.
Got a bag, got a toothbrush and a comb.
When I’m a good dog they sometimes throw me a bone.
I got elastic bands keeping my shoes on.
Got those swollen hands blues.
Got thirteen channels of shit on the TV to choose from.
I got electric light,
And I got second sight.
Got amazing powers of observation.
And that is how I know,
When I try to get through,
On the telephone to you,
There’ll be nobody home.
I got the obligatory Hendrix perm,
And the inevitable pinhole burns,
All down the front of my favorite satin shirt.
I got nicotine stains on my fingers.
I got a silver spoon on a chain.
Got a grand piano to prop up my mortal remains.
I’ve got wild, staring eyes.
And I got a strong urge to fly,
But I got nowhere to fly to …fly to… fly to… fly to.
Ooooo Babe,When I pick up the phone,
There’s still nobody home.
I got a pair of Gohill boots,
And I got fading roots.I got a little black book with my poems in.
