-Du skriver at folk i 30-årene er en generasjon arbeidsnarkomane med dagdrivermentalitet. Er det fordi vi vil forene uforenelige ting, at livene våre ikke går opp?
– Ja, jeg tror det er litt derfor. Vi er en generasjon som har identiteten vår sterkt knyttet opp til jobben, samtidig som vi jobber mindre og mindre overtid. For å få det bra i dag, må man godta at hastigheten er en god ting i seg selv. Går en og venter å finne roen, kan det ta lang tid.

Can’t remember who was interviewed, but is was a Norwegian writer in this weekends A-Magasinet at least, and the journalist was named Tonje Egedius.

This weekend we have had voluntary communal work, in Norwegian “Dugnad” http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dugnad, in our housing cooperative. Some of the work was done on the windows in our appartement, so I consider it to fit in the category Renovation in my home page. Elin is reported sick until the 14’th, she sleeps more than usual, but is still able to do some work when awake. She has painted the bedroom today, more pictures to come from there. Finally we are now finished with the wardrobe in the hall and in the bedroom. The only thing left now is the lists inside the wardrobe. We are pleased with the result! Click “read more” to view all pictures.
