Water-skiing on Saturday

Yesterday I was invited by my old colleague Helge from Bertel O. Steen to go water-skiing at Hurdalssjøen. That was plenty of fun – and belive it or not, not to cold either, not at least until I got back in my car. Had to increase the temprature up to 25 degrees for a while 🙂

Helge – he knows his way around on water-ski

For the second time in my life, and on only one ski!

A bit to reckless, and I took a dive…

So far – but no longer

I was out with my bike yesterday. The plan was to only use the gravel roads, but when the road ends and the only possible way further is floodlit track I had no choice. At first the track was quite dry and ok to ride a bike on, but the further I went the more moor it was, and less dry track. It all ended like the picture shows. I pulled my bike up and kept on, impressing myself because even with water up to the pedals, the bike just went on and on. After about 500 meters or so I finally came to the road I thought I was riding on…

Picea sitchensis – actually weed in Norway

First of all, “weed” is in Norwegian “ugress”, not pot or that kinda stuff. Was watching a tv program about Mongstad and the flora at the industrial area. There they had cut down 10.000 picea sitchensis (sitka-gran) in one weekend. If the tree strike root it will cover the cultivated landscape in just a few years.

Still a farmer boy

Yesterday after I had been to the dentist I drove out to Vestreng and helped my father-in-law (still not , but to let you know who I helped). So I spent over 3 hours with the harrow listening to the latest Iron Maiden cd…as mentioned earlier – a good one! At the dentist you wonder, no tooth decay!!

I have had a puncture

Yesterday I had a punture, out driving with my father-in-laws tractor (not yet, ok, but to let you know who’s tractor it was) I ran over a board with a nail in it. The board got stuck, and when removing it…psssssshhhhhhh. At once I removed the chain, and now we have to change the tyre…
