My short introduction on how to make a good round of waffles, assuming the batter is already prepared.
Make sure the waffle iron is hot enough. My iron is so advanced that is has a green light flashing when ready. Pour batter in the hot waffle iron

When the waffle is a bit done, but still underdone, the iron will lift itself up as the picture is showing. This due to the waffle is swelling.
To make a good solid waffle you then need to apply pressure on the waffle iron, hold for about ten seconds while the waffle makes a sizzling sound.
After a couple of minutes, depending on your iron and how efficient it is…your waffle is done. Size matters, I have the largest they had in the shop! Less trouble eating
