Enjoying myself

After returning from Paris, I slept this morning until I woke up by myself. Had a sweaty night, but hopefully I’m all right now. One good thing about not eating properly for four days in a row, I was veining in just under 80 kg this morning. Have not happened since I had to quit running because of all my marathons.

And now I’m enjoying my lunch break, with a valentine cookie provided to me by Elin (nice??) and a cup of tea while listening to Emmylou and Mark http://www.maximonline.com/entertainment/reviews.aspx?p_id=11817 I can’t anything else but admit that my knowledge in music has been broadened since we joined our cd collections.

Report from day three in Paris

A day like the other days, got up quite early, went to “Centre de formation” and came back to the hotel at around eight in the evening. And since I have had tummy bugs I haven’t been eating to much. Anyhow, the first evening I had this beer http://www.k1664.co.uk/

While searching for the beers I have been drinking I stumbled over this blog “Knut Albert’s Beer Blog” A Norwegian guy actually http://beerblog.motime.com I have also had Grimbergen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grimbergen_(beer) which was the best.

This morning while eating my very limited breakfast, I had to wonder, the only bread left – is it really a bread, no it is not. Why do they want to eat something stuffed with chocolate early in the morning…??

Breakfast

Not much to report

At the hotel, in front of the computer, eating crackers, which is the only thing I dare eat due to my tummy bugs…doh!! Imagine that was hard, when having a presentation earlier today and suddenly felt the urge to throw up…spit flodded in my mouth and I had to say..”I think I need a five minute break boys…”

First day in France

I did arrive here at Noisy-Le-Grand http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noisy-le-Grand a couple of hours ago. Had to go straight out and get some food, since it had been quite a long journey even though it is not that far from Oslo. Due to weather conditions at Gardermoen we where delayed, and the whole journey took almost 7 hours from I left home. No wonder I was hungry.

I took the train from the airport

Train

Had to go all the way to downtown Paris to change there and go out here afterwards. Took me almost one and a half hour I do belive.

Not much to see when riding on the train.

Charles de Gaulle airport is quite difficult to find your way around in when you haven’t been there frequently. The same goes for the Paris metro, which I spent 10 to 15 minutes trying to find out where to find the next train.

Metro

Finally at the hotel, just to realize that the restaurant not opens until seven o’clock, so I had to walk over to the “Centre Commercial Arcad’s” to find some place to eat. Not easy to find my way there as well, walking around in the parking house next to the centre
