On Tuesday the 20’th of February I sent the following question to Kvinnegruppen Ottar

Still no answer from kvinnegruppa@ottar.as A bit funny how Ottar’s leader supports Gerd Liv Valla just because she is a woman http://www.ottar.as/artikler/valla.html
Today, on March the 8’th, it is Womens Day. I wonder if this day is just a ghost from the old days. While watching the news today they had this news saying that only 15% of the top hundred list of people mentioned in the media where women. And then the Ombud for Equal Status Karita Bekkemellem Orheim was interviewed saying “This needs to be taken care of, I have several plans on how to change this…”. What could that be? A new legislation saying that for each man the newspapers has mentioned, they also need to mention a woman? Karita should spend her time on more important issues!
If they don’t have more important issues why the heck spend time having this day at all?
Found this chronicle touching this issue http://www.nytid.no/?sk=urix&id=3986
