90’ths party

Last Friday I dressed up for a 90’ths party. From way back in the closet I found my old leather jacket from -94. I also went to Freetex and bought the rest of the stuff, fleece (nice!), a tie (Hugo Boss, no shit!!) and a brown cord trousers. And since it was a 90’ths party, we had to drink like in the 90’ths, so I had one large bottle of Vodka and another large bottle of home made Turkish Pepper (a large bottle of Vikingfjord and Fazer Turkish Pepper). Spot on, had a lot of fun, but Saturday was not so much fun, but not as bad as several other times when drinking wine, beer and other stuff…

Certified HTML Developer

This evening I did the HTML Developer test provided by W3schools, so now I will get a diploma confirming that I know my html, css and xhtml! http://www.w3schools.com/cert/cert_html.asp

I would highly recommend you to study for it and take the test if you are working as a web developer. Not that the test itself gave me more knowledge, but I learned a lot of new cool stuff when taken the available courses at W3Schools.

My blog yet again updated

I’ve just updated my blog once again. First I tried to upgrade to version 2.1.0 beta, but everything went bananas. Nothing worked, and I just got a message saying “Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in…”

Luckily I had done what I was supposed to do, I had a backup, so I restored my database and instead upgraded from 1.10.2 to 1.10.3. I guess I will wait until version 2.x is released as stable, not as beta as it is now. In fact, 1.10.3 is the stable release…so…buckle up, it’s the law!

Protect your local kebab!

Due to the renovation situation back home, we have tried to spend most of the weekend away. Tonight we visited Ingrid and Lars Tormod, went to see a movie with them and when finished we shared a pizza at their place. The pizza was bought at the local kebab and pizza place named Sonys Pizza or something like that. Anyhow, it seems like good kebab ingredients are worth a lot, since they have spent quite some time to protect their store. I have not seen a door so well protected before, and that is the back door. Is it the due to the fact that Blitz is in the neighborhood maybe?

Maybe to keep Mattilsynet (The Food Safety Authority) away? Or at least storming in the back door 🙂

My last bicycle ride this year?

Have been out with my mountain bike today, a very nice day, I guess the temperature is just above freezing but I have plenty of clothes. The sun was shining and all in all very nice. Ended up at Ellingsrud, doing some track riding. Since I’m not hardcore I do not know if it was a single track, or a double track, or maybe a triple track.

But, after about one hour this happened, and I had to return back home. It is the second time with my front wheel that one of the spokes snaps. Maybe I need to buy a new and better wheel…

Renovation of the kitchen

Now all the parts to our new kitchen has arrived, what a choosy living room we now have. Elin is very happy right now. I must admit I have just called Espen and asked whether or not he is home this evening. I do not want to stay at home.

Elin, quite happy 🙂

More about Kristopher Schau

Sorry for this for my readers that does not understand Norwegian, but most of this posting will be in Norwegian. There is a tv serie made by a Norwegian comedian, at least I think that is describing him the best, and he wanted to find out whether or not Hell exists by doing all the seven deadly sins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_deadly_sins. And in the end, if he did not go to hell afterwards, Hell and therefore God does not exists would be the conclusion. A lot of fuzz here in Norway due to that.

Read this article today http://www.dagbladet.no/kultur/2007/11/09/517682.html and I had to comment it, somewhere in the huge amounts of comments you will find my comment

I also came to think of it: Has anyone seen Kristopher, is he dead or alive? I guess it would be in Finn Jarle Sæles interest of getting Kristopher off the face of the earth, so he then could prove that Hell, and therefore God exists 🙂

An update on the renovation of the kitchen

Here is a short update of the status of our kitchen project. The first picture shows Elin standing in front of the fridge which now is pretty convenient placed right next to our tv. If we want something while watching tv, we won’t miss anything!!
