My blog yet again updated

I’m now running on b2evo v 2.4.1. I’ve had some troubles being able to update to the latest version, but it ended up that I realized that I had not read the manual from start to end. RTFM and everything went smooth. The new version has some new major features, but that is back office so users just reading my blog will not notice anything different.

Or, there is one difference, the skin (layout) is changed. This is because the skin api is changed, so my old skin is not working out of the box at least. I must do a follow up on this.

Preparing for races

On Tuesday I was about to participated on the first outdoor training session with Rye (http://www.sportsklubbenrye.no). I lasted only five kilometers before one of the spokes on my front wheel snapped and I had to return home. So on Wednesday I went down to http://www.fast-bikes.no with my bike so that they could fix it. Got kinda expensive as well, since I bought a new wheelset Mavic Ksyrium Elite http://www.mavic.com/road/products/Ksyrium-Elite.995153.aspx I guess I will go waaaaay much faster now 🙂

I’ve also put my name on the helmet. This is needed when we have a pace line chain, when I’m the last one in the slow chain the man in the fast chain will shout out my name letting me know that I must switch chain and follow his rear wheel. Since we are so many it is a neat trick to have the name on the helmet.

What we read when eating breakfast

Took this picture couple of days ago after first I, then Elin, had been eating breakfast. I read Aftenposten, and Elin read “100 dikt” (100 poems) by Haldis Moren Vesaas http://www.bokklubben.no/SamboWeb/produkt.do?produktId=2834026 Kinda funny…

Breakfast

But, ok, as you might have seen already, there is also a book there – Rocky by Martin Kellerman, which I read some days before that… check it out here http://www.rocky-digital.com/

Various pictures related to snow

This easter we where at Vestreng, not being able to go skiing. People who knows me knew that and especially Elins cousin, Randi, where eager to send me pictures letting me know how nice conditions it was at their place. I did just do a clean up of all the pictures on my cell phone, and I’ve collected all the “look how much snow”-related pictures in this post.

Guitarhero

Kent was in Oslo for two days earlier this week and we went to visit Simen. Simen had borrowed Guitar Hero from Are, and we had to try it. I’m very bad, Kent was better and Simen had blisters due to a lot of playing the past days.

Simen had done all songs on the easy level except of Raining Blood with Slayer (his favorite, see the irony 🙂 )

PHP upgraded

My domain is hosted by http://hostean.net, an ISP which I would really recommend. I realized that I needed a newer version of the Zend Optimzer to be able to upgrade to the latest version of my blog. So I sent an email to support, and after just one week they have moved my entire site to a new server running Zend Optimizer v2.6.2 without any problems at all.

So, if you need an ISP, I say again: I would really recommend Hostean…excellent service!
