INTRODUCING THE WORLD’S FIRST POWER ASSISTED SUITCASE http://www.liveluggage.com/ In the industrialised world where everyone seems to be getting fatter (www.aftenposten.no/amagasinet/article….) do we really need power assisted suitcases? Don’t think so…
On the other hand, can we power up our Ipod with Gatorade and an onion?
[video:youtube:GfPJeDssBOM]…likely not… http://science.howstuffworks.com/onion-power-ipod.htm
Today I did not run, my legs are not used to it, so two times this week is enough. Instead I made sure that I got a table at a good restaurant today. Not that Big Horn Steakhouse was’nt good the previous two days, but I wanted something from the sea today, and you do not go to a steak house to get that. So today I got a table at http://www.xldiner.no/ I first had a fish soup, then Bacalao Tandoori and for dessert I had Creme Brulee (but off course!)
The view from my table

And a bad picture of the dessert, super!

Today running the opposite way, pictures taken from Sukkertoppen
Yesterday I rented a BMW316 and drove to Stranda to visit Inger Helen and Atle. Nice car to drive, BMW has very, very good driving abilities, BUT – the engine was way, way, way to small. But, in sharp corners, very fun!!

I bought a present for Atle

This week is being spent in Ålesund teaching WebSphere Portal 6.1 Development. After the work hours was finished I went back to the hotel, changed my clothes and went out running. Had a really nice run past Fjellstua. There are some pretty nice paths up in the city mountain. See large picture
…and a beer at the end.
My sister in law on the way up the ladder…

At the mill yesterday, just had to take a picture of this tractor trailer…

This year we have the general election here in Norway. Due to that many of the party’s have a stand on the main street of Oslo, Karl Johan. The one I find most noticeable is the one belonging to Demokratene. The reason for this: It is not the most eye-catching one, making sure that you at once knows which party it represents. No, Demokratene seems to be sponsored by Bautas, which is the largest equipment rental and outsourcing company in Norway, providing associated planning and rigging services. The first day I passed it I thought it had something to do with some construction work, but along side it an old man is standing handing out pamphlets. The best thing was one of the days it was pretty heavy rain, then he just stood inside with the door slightly open, with just his hand and the pamphlets showing.

At the right hand side you see the stand to the senior citizens party here in Norway, way more cozy.
Espen and I participated in AIM Challenge yesterday. 6 hours, 60 markers with different amount of points if you reach it. Currently not sure how many points we got, but if we have counted correctly we should have got 279,5 points. The results are not available yet.
Anyhow, much fun and we learned a lot, it was our first time (at least mine), but next time we will really go for…not gold, but a least more points
UPDATE: The results are now available – #13 of 87 🙂 !!!
