One liner: Adding files to svn

List all files needed to be commited into Subversion, then grep only files not added, this being lines starting with question mark. The ‘^\?’ means

  • ^ = line start
  • \ = escape next charater
  • ? = The character to search for, since ? is a metacharater in Regex, it must be escaped.

Then using awk print the file path and name and at last using xargs and svn add – add the files to svn.

svn status | grep ^\? | awk '{print $2}' | xargs svn add

Finally I bother to do it…WEP to WPA

I have known it for a long time, I should have done it a long time ago, but still, needed to see http://www.nrk.no/programmer/tv/brennpunkt/1.7848190 (Nettverk i offentlige miljøer er lette å hacke) before actually changing from WEP to WPA2…

Using WEP really is nothing more than a keylock made of plastic.

IBM WebSphere Technical Conference 2011 in Berlin

I’ve spent a few days in Berlin attending the IBM WebSphere Technical Conference. While walking down the streets I saw this poster of Petterson and Findus which I first thought was written by a Norwegian, but it turns out to be Swedish.

Staying at a hotel close to the Deutsche Oper Berlin, off course they had to have pictures like this on the wall in the rooms. No idea what so ever which opera this is from…

Tuesday, dinner at the Fernsehturm, nice view and pretty good food as well.

Me at the conference on Wednesday preparing for the session me and Geir would have talking about Telenor and Rational Automation Framework.

Moon above Bismarckstraße.

At the Genazvale restaurant, serving food from Georgia. Me just about to try out the kebab, served on this giant spear totally hiding Geir. If ever going to Berlin, I would recommend a visit to this place.

Kindzmarauli, sweet wine from Georgia.

Pictures from Røverkollen

Last Sunday the weather forecast said heavy rain, but when I woke up the weather was pretty nice – so I headed out with my bike in a hurry. Have not been to Røverkollen this year, so I had to grab the chance before winter gets here. Pictures taken from the small tower next to the tv tower, view towards Groruddalen

And view towards Nittedal

Heading home I went over Årvollåsen.

You want strong sir? I don’t think so!!

Me and Espen had take away from http://www.gourmetthai.no yesterday. Totally ok food, fun part was when I tried to order the food strong. The woman behind the counter insisted of me wanting “medium minus”. A bit back and forth and I said “ok, not strong, but medium pluss”. She said ok, and then made the chef prepare it as medium…

And while writing “womand behind the counter” it reminded me of the song by Pearl Jam

And the decision is: Aass

Bought Frydenlund Bayer yesterday, and since I have the weekend alone at home with the boys, what better than to try it and compare it with Aass Bayer after putting the boys to bed?

The decision is

  1. Aass Bayer
  2. Frydenlynd Bayer

But, ok. I drank Frydenlund first, then Aass – must repeat the test some day soon starting with Aass – it is a tough job, but someone got to do it!

But both where perfect while watching Rolling Stones – Ladies and Gentlemen

Disk failure

The weather has been amazing today, and after having spent the whole day inside together with Anders who once again is sick I just had to take my bike and race trough Trulsrunden before Elin should head of to SATS. Halfway trough (see this clip at 0:30 to see where) my front wheel got jammed and I had to jump off my bike. My knee did hurt quite much, had to stop for some minutes before checking my bike realizing that the back wheel did not spin as it should. Realized the disk was totally messed up, but not worse than it did allow me to ride my bike back home. So no MTB tomorrow…

Street filled with cones

Our street is filled with cones. At first I did not understand why

But, when coming home from work I heard the sound of the woodpecker up in the utility pole. It is in fact pretty damaged due to the woodpecker using it to hold on to the cones while he eats the seeds.
