Escape from boredom

Now running latest version of B2Evolution. This time I had to struggle a bit since I decided to try the automatic update. Did try it first on my local installation, did run without any issues, blog upgraded within 5 minutes. So I decided to do the same on my “production”-blog. I am not really sure why it did fail, might have just been me being a bit to impatient. Anyhow, when accessing the log it did say that the database schema was to old (previous version), but all the rest was updated. Luckily I had taken a backup which I had restored on my local instance before upgrading it. So I then just exported the complete database from my local instance and imported it in “production”. Problem solved, all fine.

Following the same procedure I will try automatic upgrade the next time as well.

Borrowed a KTM SMC 690r for two days…enjoyed it, now just have to decide if I really need a new bike or not…

Here are some pictures from the flood earlier this month. Also learned that the name of the stream is Holterbekken.

There was really no reason have the electricity on

Yesterday we had really heavy rain, so Anders and I spent some time driving around looking at the amount of water flooding down the streams.

Down by our neighbour, a small stream, now a river.

And the road to Bjørkvoll. After we have had the timber operation this winter, and then had a digger cleaning up afterwards the water runs without any obstacles – thus more water coming at greater speed towards the road, causing the big flood, even over the road.

Had to remove an old tree stumb which had turned into an ants home. Spent 20 minutes of digging around it and also used the handsaw to cut some of the roots preparing for the big pull

And voila, did actually go much easier than I had thought. Not a big hole either, good one.

Last Tuesday I went together with my friend Kjetil to pick up his new Ducati 851

And I got to ride his Multistrada back home, must admit that I did not hesitate when he asked me for that favor

The yearly duty has been done, the forest road has been taken care of.

Together with Atle and the boys we went to Gan and visited Høgås Batteri today. Very nice and easy accessible, just park by the road and an easy walk for 5 minutes.
