Escape from boredom

This week I have been preparing pasture for our neighbors horses. My dad has helped me out (together with my neighbor and my brother). We have prepared the electrical fence and also did some forest tending using the pasture chopper (?).

Weed tending a couple of weeks ago, removing a lot of dooryard docks and spear thistles. When having the proper gloves it is quite easy to get rid of the thistles, just pulling them straight up.

And note, weed as in Norwegian “ugress”, not weed as in weed meaning cannabis 🙂

The boys where our walking through the rye here the other day. Following the tracks from the tractor they totally disappeared since the rye is so high, only showing the landing net carried by Iver.
