Picking the antique lock with a paper clip
Son #1 managed to break the key in the lock of the antique cabinet which created a small crisis since we do not have a spare one, and all locks where …. locked. In came Kjell Einar, who found the challenge a bit to tempting. First he gave it a try with a hairclip, but it was not strong enough. So I found a solid paper clip which, and with the proper bend and a couple of minutes without any results…voila, first door open. And then much faster the seoncd one and finally the top one. So now we are at least able to get hold of what was inside, but question still remains: Try to find a new identical key, have one made or simply find another cabinet.

Finally got to finish “Blodige strender”, book #4 about the war sailor Halvor Skramstad. Started reading it last year, but lost track of where I was, so therefore decided to read it all once more. No problem, a good one this book as well. Now ready for book #5

How to renew the internal SSL certificates in WebSphere
By mistake I managed to delete the signer certificate stored in the CellDefaultTrustStore yesterday (luckily in test, not in prod). Anyhow, that caused major issues for the whole environment since no servers/nodeagents was able to communicate with the deployment manager.
First time downhill at Hafjell
This weekend Espen and I finally got to spend some quality time together using the xmas-gift from our wifes (https://youwish.no/). Intention was to drive a race car, but we ended up renting downhill bikes at Hafjell. Had a lot of fun, got some air, but not big air. Espen sprained his thumb, other than that no major accidents either. Tired legs, arms hurting, knee also, apart from that, just fun. Some pictures and video as well, filmed by Espen using his GoPro.
