Last Sunday, the kids, Jonas and me together with “Barnas Turlag Aurskog-Høland” went to Basmo Fortress, a former fortification located in the north-western part of Marker municipality in Østfold, Norway.

In need of a new one
Duct tape did postpone the death of the wiper blade on the tractor, but now it was totally worn out…time for a new one
Tidy the barn
With the help of Thomas, my neighbour, we did tidy the barn yesterday. So along with all the stuff which was there upfront, we where able to get even more inside in additon to have plenty of space to park the backhoe.
The planking (?) is not that open as the lowermost picture might indicate, it is actually an optical illusion since the picture is way out of focus…
Not the best day going to work
Thursday morning on my way to work I saw this woman carrying her bike
Picking the antique lock with a paper clip
Son #1 managed to break the key in the lock of the antique cabinet which created a small crisis since we do not have a spare one, and all locks where …. locked. In came Kjell Einar, who found the challenge a bit to tempting. First he gave it a try with a hairclip, but it was not strong enough. So I found a solid paper clip which, and with the proper bend and a couple of minutes without any results…voila, first door open. And then much faster the seoncd one and finally the top one. So now we are at least able to get hold of what was inside, but question still remains: Try to find a new identical key, have one made or simply find another cabinet.
Nice weather when in Sweden
We all went to Skillingsfors on Saturday and made a fire down by the lake Björkelången. The kids had a good time and so did we

Last Friday we went with the kids to see Snøkvit at Det Norske Teateret.

Finally got to finish “Blodige strender”, book #4 about the war sailor Halvor Skramstad. Started reading it last year, but lost track of where I was, so therefore decided to read it all once more. No problem, a good one this book as well. Now ready for book #5
