Without shaving foam and shampo
At Leikanger http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leikanger today, got here with Widerøe from Gardermoen to Sogndal. While passing the security check at Gardermoen the nazi security guards took away my shampoo and shaving foam…so I wonder how I will look and smell when back home tomorrow!!! Bastards! All thanks to freaking security paranoia…
Å lese Lolita i Teheran – Azar Nafisi
My latest book “Å lese Lolita i Teheran” by Azar Nafisi, a good follow up to my previous book which also was written by a female from Iran. I would recommend this one as well, as it gave me a valuable view into the daily life of Iran, how the government influences it, and how the citizens tries to cope with the moral police and such. At first I found the book a bit boring, due to all the talk about literature, but I soon realized that it was an important part of the book – the red line.

Have you seen the tv ad for Imodium Comp? It is a medicament stopping diarrhea, and the commercial goes like this: A woman walking out of her home, then when down the stairs you see two of her and hear a voice saying “have you had these days when accute diarrhea have stopped you from doing what you want? Eat Imodium Comp and be able to cure your diarrhea”. Then you see the woman going to the movies with a friend of her. I found the description on the Apotek 1 web page, it is said to cure

Hurdalsjøen Rundt
I have been participating in “Hurdalsjøen Rundt” today, a 65km (70 according to my computer) race around Hurdalsjøen. I was very happy when crossing the finishing line, I made it in less than 2 hours and with an average speed of 35 km/h. That includes 5 kilometers of steep up hill in the mid of the race.

A decade down the road, when most of the original Seattle grunge bands had fallen prey to either mortality, acrimony, or changing public tastes, Pearl Jam still stood tall above the well-settled, flannel-flecked dust. At the dawn of the 21st century, presumably in an effort to beat the bootleggers, the band starting releasing dozens of live albums. The best of these, like this 2003 disc, demonstrate the group’s continuing vitality. From early grunge-era anthems such as “Evenflow” and the survivors’ anthem “Alive” to the death-rock cover “Last Kiss” and the melodic, contemplative “Betterman,” the full breadth of the band’s vision is shown. As befits a band that Neil Young once used as a backing outfit, they know how to jam without veering into self-indulgence–a good thing, considering how many concert recordings were already floating around by the time of this double-disc release.

Yes!! Below 80 kg!
For the first time in years, meaning 1 and a half year, since I stopped running due to my legs complaning after 5 marathons in one year I’m now finally below 80 kg again. Have been cruising just above, but now, due to my new bike, I have lost weight 🙂
But, I guess you have to have a trained eye to notice it, but in my head it makes a big difference
It’s hot – this years first swim
It is about 29 degrees celsius today here in Oslo. We have spent the weekend at Vestreng, yesterday me and Espen helped with preparing the fence for the herd which will arrive in a few days. Today I had planned to ride my bike for about 150 kilometres, but I resigned, it is to hot.
