Escape from boredom

Yesterday morning

Now my in-laws do not need to worry about freezing temperatures, the garage is now filled up with firewood

I also had to take care of two large birch trees that had been felled by the wind earlier this week. My oldest son actually saw and most of all heard this one go down not to far from our out-building. Since it was pretty tempting for him to climb on it, together with the fact that it would have been not all safe, I had to remove it.

And yes, it is “the plum”, the single, one and only we got this year. Last year, so much plums that the branches snapped, this year – only one…

Why bother move the forage harvester when you can drive around?

Was out late yesteday evening riding my bike. Was well dressed, but it was no need. Warm and moist, many places the fog was “as thick as porrige” as we say in Norway. Had to try to take some pictures, but … cell phone camera…not the best.

Someone has had a tough day at work for sure. Saw this on Sunday, was out finding “stølper” https://www.stolpejakten.no, at the most remote location, that is Mangen. Suddenly I saw an excavator and something strange behind it. Turned out to be yet another excavator, deep down in the bog.

Yesterday we got a guided tour of the fortified town of Fredrikstad, interesting and a lot fun as well, the commander in chief (the guide) had many good stories.

Friday evening me and a bunch of my colleagues went to see the Tom Mathisen show. Since I know many of the songs from Prima Vera very well it was fun, but I was also suprised by the amount of songs I did not know, such as “Paven på vannski” and “Fluer har ikke fjær”.

This package of kefir has been forgotten for some time in the fridge, usually not really worried about the date, but it started to get a bit “blown up”

…and actually, yesterday it almost bursted…that was really the deatch sentence.

Actually this was last Saturday, got an early start and decided that we most likely won’t be spending to much time on the terrace anymore this year.

Cleaning the terrace, I really hate fungus and moss…

Did spray the moss with chemicals a couple of weeks ago, now washing most of it away. Will have to repeat the process
