The Weber experience
No doubt
Renovating the old outbuilding
We plan to make better use of the old outbuilding on our farmyard (Bryggerhuset). Last week I started tearing down the backside wall
A lot of decay, so all have to go away
Even more decay
I have removed all of the chimney above the roof
The tiles has to go away
All done within an hour
Continuing to tear down the chimney
All done, that is – the chimney, still plenty to do
The front loader, what every farmer must have
An old GMC (Jimmy) came by here the other day
All the way from Havnås, to pick up the old spare part truck, came an old GMC. Not something you see every day.
Ready, steady go!
A short video of the trucks leaving our farmyard.

Garden tending, no problemo!
No challenge to do garden tending as long as you have the proper equipment. Borrowed the rotavator from Elin’s uncle, so now ready to make a field of flowers next to the greenhouse.
All done, now ready to leave the field.
Doing the finishing touches with the small rotavator.
Spreading some compost for the last final touch, again no problem with the proper tooling.
Oh, the irony
Let there be light: and there was light.
Couple of days ago I mounted the front led lights on my Valmet. Pretty amazed by the difference. Here using only the front lights
Then hitting the switch. Actually I need to adjust them more to the sides, because they light up the front loader so much that it is a bit annoying. A luxury problem…
And from the front…
Forest fire at Skredderåsen
Last weekend someone had made a fire at Skredderåsen, most certainly while hoping to catch the wood grouse playing on the bog below the hill. When times of very dry terrain, along with a general advise to not actually make a fire due to the conditions – it is best described as pretty stupid to do that. Consequences can be pretty bad, luckily this time not. I spent 3 minutes walking around the whole area, so luckily it is not a very big area, which is partly owned by us. Our neighbor did spend the night guarding and was able to prevent the fire from spreading.
