Things to do on a Thursday

Cleaning the drain pipes, no job to big, no job to small for this truck. Someone suggested that I could use the garden hose…I would beg to differ – the pressure washer on that truck…the noise alone from the drain when they started flushing proved that this was a serious tool way better than any garden hose.

Windfall tree – I was in for a surprise

Had to delimb two windfall trees yesterday. Well aware of the dangers I must admit that I was not able to spot the danger. Luckily not to much tension in it, but it did “jump” about half a meter….and really fast. I did not want to cut the tree into small pieces so I could just drag the whole thing with the tractor

, but…next time better review some safety videos first.

But not all self proclaimed safety videos are really safe. This guy knows his way around working with the chain saw, but apart from that…he seems to have forgotten his protective clothing.

Tetanus vaccine

Got some small pieces of a steel wire stuck in my finger here the other day, so had to get help of the doctor to get it out. And to be on the safe side I also got a tetanus vaccine. Not painful, but two days after my arm is kinda sensitive, looks like a wasp sting.

Cold and sun!!

Took this picture last Monday. Something strange lightning up the courtyard.

And in the afternoon when heading home after work. Picking up the car at Fetsund, spring in February. Clear blue sky and sun

But note! 7 degrees, pretty warm and how it should be in February according to my standards.
