When back at the hotel room at half past two tonight I noticed a strange sound from the window. Looking out through the wide open window, just 4-5 meters away, a couple was “doin’it”. Just pulled the curtains together and let them have their way, but afterwards I was pretty close to throw water on them since they could not stop talking…
Have a few screws I need to tighten, so what is better than a new set of power tools. Got the screw driver as a birthday present and bought the drill quite cheap (hence no li-ion battery). No I just need all the parts and we’re on!
After about two and a half hour out in the sun on my bike, and then playing with Anders I got a really nice bikers tan today. No good summer without a bikers tan with a sharp edge.
Yesterday at 19:00 me and Anders started from home in Oslo and headed towards Mosjøen. We drove via Trysil and Røros, saw a lot of reindeers, two hares running just in front of my car, a fox that also tried to run in front of the car but failed. Anders was a very good boy, giving me no stress until it was only 15 kilometers left…then he puked, just my luck.

On Tuesday evening Erik and I towed the old Ford 4000 from Vestreng and for more than 20 kilometers to the garage. The transmission is broken, and towing it in neutral was the easiest and fastest way to get it to the garage. It was a bit challenging I must admit, the rope could have been a bit longer. Since it was relatively short I had to watch the brakes and steer (off course). Much like riding the bike together with a team, close to the wheel of the guy in front of you.

A birch was about to grow way to large, and we could risk that it could fall and cut down the tv cabel or worse fall down on one of the houses if a day strong wind combined with heavy rain would occur. Was a bit nervous since the tree had to be cut down and fall very precise between two fences. If it would fall left or right it would hit one of the houses, and if falling completely the wrong way it would cut down the tv cabel. But, with the help of a rope and me doing it by the book everything went according to plan – no one got hurt…
Documented before and after using my cell phone camera and its panorama function. Pretty amazing how it works, but I guess using legs or something would be the best choice in order to create the best result.

Got my car cleaned by Fornebu Bilsenter earlier this week. A year without any major cleaning and even Elin started nagging that “…when will you have the car cleaned??..” 🙂

I heard on the radio yesterday that farmers in England had started to worry about the rising of sheep rustling (Cattle rustling). The article they referred to on the radio was this one http://www.nrk.no/nyheter/verden/1.7125165. Did a further check on that one, and found this article on the BBC website. The last one is a bit more specific saying “Farmers raise Lothian and Borders sheep rustling fear”. So not a national plaque after all 🙂
