For some AC/DC is worth killing for

A Winnipeg man has been sentenced to four years in prison for a violent assault sparked by his fondness for the Aussie rockers.

I’m really impressed by the victim who according to the local police force “…wasn’t overly interested in assisting the prosecution,…He said he felt empowered by this — if this didn’t kill him nothing would.

You can’t find everything on Spotify!

You can’t replace your whole music collection with Spotify. If you for instance want to play something with “The Plastic People Of The Universe“, Spotify can’t help you. And I can’t play Spotify in my car, the argument “You just buy an Ipod, then just transfer your offline Spotify-colleciton to it, then use the Ipod in the car” just does’nt make it for me. For instance I can’t use the remote control on my steering wheel to change songs on the Ipod, I have to change it on the Ipod itself…

So…still a long way to Tipparary!!

Things have gone a bit to far

“…The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has warned footballers that spitting on the pitch during games greatly increases the risk of spreading swine flu among team-mates and opposition alike…”  http://www.extrafootie.co.uk/news/article/30294/

Even though I’ve earlier raised the question “Is soccer a top level sport?” I must say that yes, soccer is a sport, and when doing sport you sometimes get the need to spit. So claiming that it is disgusting…it is so Oprah Winfrey. I’ve been told that she has a spitting bag when out running…Oprah, running? I think not!

What to do with “skattelistene”

In Norway the tax lists are published and made available so that anyone can search them from vaste amounts of webpages, for instance http://www.skattelister.no. The mayor of Sandøy says things straight out and without any filter what so ever he states his opinion about the case in this article

” … – Skattelistene kan stikkes langt opp i ræva, smeller ordførere til….”

If he gets to know Chuck Norris, maybe he can help him out http://skattelister.no/skatt/sok/?q=chuck+norris

Google can help you out if you find Norwegian hard to read http://translate.google.com…..

The Bible history told by using Lego

The Brick Testament, from the FAQ-page:

6. Is The Brick Testament really created entirely out of LEGO?
Everything but the background sky is built out of LEGO brand building blocks. There are a few select instances where Rev. Smith has resorted to modifying LEGO pieces with a hobby knife or permanent ink marker, but by far the vast majority of everything you see in The Brick Testament are unaltered LEGO parts from sets that date from the 1960s up to the present day, artfully recombined to form the characters and settings that make up these Bible stories.

Me – a winner in the lottery

The Norwegian Red Cross have arranged for you to join their lottery when recycling empty bottles. I did it on Saturday and I won!!! Recycled bottles worth 9 NOK, pressed the button and then the sound of victory and more…I had won…the total amount of 10 NOK…!!! CRAZY!!!

When sending letters where you beg for money, please make a not “Lottery – begging” on the front, in that way I can sort your letter out from the rest of the mail…

Snapshots from when out walking

Me and Anders walked down to Ingrid yesterday while Elin came about an hour later driving the car. Noticed this fence nearby Bryn, gives “No Trespassing” new meaning, five layers of barbed wire, would not climb over there.

Then, just a few meters further I just had to take a picture of this graffiti saying: “Ronny pøbel, føkk døkk” (You need to be Norwegian to get the point, but føkk = fuck anyhow)
