Passed by Platekompaniet together with Kent today, came across this cd by Tool, and off course I needed it…Elin disagrees…

Sat listening to a cover of Every Breath you take and realized that I do not have anything with The Police, so straight to www.play.com I went!

We did watch the movie Wonderland, telling the story about the Wonderland Murders http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderland_Murders where John Holmes, the old porno star, was involved some way or the other. The music is from the early 80’s and late 70’s, some of it really good, and therefore I bought the album right away.

A decade down the road, when most of the original Seattle grunge bands had fallen prey to either mortality, acrimony, or changing public tastes, Pearl Jam still stood tall above the well-settled, flannel-flecked dust. Needed to get rid of some cash 🙂 And I do like both Gatas Parlament and Hopalong Knut, so why not try this cd which is a cooperation between the two bands.

And, Hopalong is written with only one ‘p’, not two, thanks to their blog I have corrected myself 🙂

MC5, or Motor City 5. When this pieces of Rock’n Roll history shows up for only 20 NOK at Platekompaniet I just had to rescue it.
