Classic, it’s from 1994, and I had to wait until now before I bought it…when listening to it I can’t figure out why, maybe because Atle used to listen to it back in my study days, and Atle listen to only depressive music as we all know!

If you have read the posting from last week you will realize why I had to buy this CD. It’s quite ok, believe it takes a while to get used to it, which by the way is a sign of quality. Need to buy her previous album as well “Pilot”.

Just arrived home after being on a concert with Kari Rueslåtten together with Bendik, Line, Espen and Loy. Despite the sound, which from time to time could have been better, the concert was really good. And I must admit that Kari is … beautiful … and a good singer… see and listen at http://www.karirueslatten.com
Exile
i just want to lay myself down
drink the illusions and let it all float away
into the river of voices
one of them will speak and tell me where to go
i packed my thoughts and visions
headed for the light on the other side
although consoling was a myth
the tunnel was a con
i ran – but i never turned back
i have deported my own life
into this foolish splendour
i have brought the beauty of a soul
cold and dark as the last day
is the image of the dream
that made it all worth-while
in exile
if there is a sign out there hiding
come to me now or forever hold your peace
you’ll find me in my room in the guesthouse
riding clouds that are hard to please
when there is a fight i will be there
it feels so good to do what one should not do
and i play i gamble and stay
i look – but i never turn back
After the concert we started the planning of our summer vacation, and the plan this year is Bulgaria http://www.travel-bulgaria.com/

Rockstar Games and Sony Music proudly present the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Original Sound Track collection. The loudest and brashest of what was blasting all up and down Vice City’s radio dial in the early 1980’s. Want to know what it was like firsthand? They’ve done you the good favor of resurrecting every significant local radio personality of the era to present the definitive soundtrack to the streets of Vice City. From Emotion 98.3’s Fernando Martinez to Wildstyle Pirate Radio’s Super Rockin’ Mr. Magic, they’ve got every imaginable musical taste covered.

Just had to buy this one, mainly because the first song is Detroit Rock City, classic!!! But in fact the whole album is really good, better than I had expected, no wonder I listened to Kiss in my youth!

Stone Temple, one of my old favorites, just had to buy the cd, it’s a collection of their greatest hits, a must have in my collection.

Have been listening to Tool, and since the guy singing in A Perfect Circle is the former singer in Tool, it’s pretty much the same kind a music. Like it…and it was cheap!

As for N.W.A, I needed a cd of Public Enemy to further complete my cd collection. Songs like “Don’t believe the hype” speaks for them selves.

…the world’s most dangerous group…or at least so they say. Anyhow, needed to further complete my collection with some of the most important rap-cd’s…

Bought this cd just by chance, heard one song on the internet radio, and went straight to play.com. Quite good, silent music, reminds me a bit of Heather Nova I guess…
