Food for lions
Eating “løvemat / tartar” at Nygård Steakhouse. Been working late with a consultant from Germany, so we headed out to get some food afterwards. Feeling wild, had to try the lions food.

Unable to start WebSphere on Windows
Had an issue just now trying to start an application server running on Windows 2008. Got error messages in SystemOut such as
CWXRS0024E: Failed to write out object:
CWRLS0008E: Recovery log is being marked as failed.
CWRLS0009E: Details of recovery log failure ... (Access is denied)In addition I also experienced that the NodeAgent would not start without any obvious reason, but if I deleted all log files it started.
Turned out to be caused by me not having started the command window with the “Run as Administrator”-option. I was allowed to create files, therefore the nodeagent started, but not allowed to change existing files, therefore the nodeagent did not start until I had deleted them. The app servers did try to write to other files as well, therefore it did not do the trick for them just to delete their log files.
Christmas present testing
A big cup, perfect for tea. The ones at work are way to small, got this one from Elin – can press the hot water button three times, just perfect.

Perfect conditions
-15 makes perfect conditions when the road is covered with snow and ice. Me as the driver in combination with the ESP made the drive from Lunde to Bø priceless. Into the turns, not way to fast, but a bit to fast, letting the ESP control the car trough the turn – I almost turned around to have fun once more. After Bø the roads where salted and it was way to much traffic anyhow.
Making me feel Christmassy
