Last weekend I participated in Nybakkrunden, a small local competition at Mangenskogen close to Aurskog. 35 kilometer, mostly gravel roads, only 2 kilometers with forest road. Not technically difficult, but perfect for those who are preparing for Birkebeinerrittet the week after.
I ended up as #54, a bit faster than my goal which was 1:15. Here standing together with Torbjørn who won the whole race, spending around 11 minutes less than me (!).

Got this picture from my old colleague at Bertel O. Steen, Geir. It is my old bike, the famous Tricky Track made by DBS which I bought in 1994. At some point I decided that it was crap, but the handy man Geir was more than happy to use it, and still is, now 18 years after commuting to work.

Not something I could do for a living, but anyhow better than they where in the beginning…
With a little help from my son, making a cover for the grill, function before form and maybe not a winner in Queer Eye, but it does the job.
And the reward. Ok, the trained eye will spot that the ones to the left is 0%. Elin bought them in case we got visitors that would not drink and drive.
Bought some very cheap equipment at Biltema. Did do the trick, but I would not start my own sandblasting company based on using it. Anyhow…before

Then I used the drill with a metal brush, later added primer then I will paint it also. End result pictures to come.
