Why bother seeing the world for real?
When you have Google? http://googlesightseeing.com/
A page worth spending time browsing
In Norwegian, http://nrkbeta.no/ – much interesting reading there, currently you will find much about the Pirat Bay-trial. Lately I have also spent time reading http://labs.finn.no/ once in a while.
Last weekend – Spidsbergester
Last weekend we went to Spidsbergseter with all my colleagues at Workplace. Very nice, spent several hours doing cross country skiing in perfect conditions.

Who the f%¤# decides fashion
Watching tv now in the morning where they are currently talking about the current fashion and what’s hot and coming this summer. A man with a strong nasal voice talking about “back to the eighties”…
I could not care less, I would rather cut my index finger than let the botox victim with the previous mentioned nasal voice decide what I should wear…and, getting back to the eighties??? I’d rather kill a cat!! Fashion victims, unite!
No Country For Old Men
Tonight Elin and I went to the movies and watched the last movie made by the Cohen Brothers “No Country For Old Men” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Country_for_Old_Men_(film). Really worth while I must say!
Van Halen – 5150
When driving to Lillehammer a couple a weeks ago for Jens and Kristins wedding I needed some new music, so I found this classic one at ICA… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5150_(album)

Racine in concert
Tonight Espen, Loy and I went to Elm Street to see Racine in concert. Does not ring a bell? What about Wendy James and Transvision Vamp? Not the most impressing music I must admit, but the whole package was fun, I guess about 40 people at Elm, 10 of the was working there, then almost 10 photographers, then the rest was the bunch
Their support band was Church of Confidence http://www.churchofconfidence.de, must admit that they rocked a whole lot more …

Arvid Bryne – “Vi sloss for Norge”
My latest book is written by Arvid Bryne – “Vi sloss for Norge”, a book about Svein Blindheim Norwegian WW2 hero and Bjørn Østring also WW2 hero, but fighting for the wrong side. The book has been criticized for not digging enough into Østring and his past. In my opinion that is not important, what is important is the criticism of the trail after the war, who was judged and who was not. I’ve understood, and this book has just confirmed it, that the official history we learned in school is just one view, not necessarily containing the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
We learned in school that the D-Day was the turning point for the war, but I can’t remember that we learned much about the Eastern Front. The fact is that the real turning point of WW2 was the battle of Stalingrad, which then again made the D-Day possible. Not that I agree with Stalin & co, but I wish we had learned more about the Eastern Front as well at school.
