A glimpse of the old days
Had to buy some lunch today, so I bought a bread and needed something on top. I ended up with something really old fashioned “Sunda” – which has the slogan “Sunda, kraftig godt!”. The box has not been changed since it was brought to the market in the 1930’s…

Renovation of the kitchen – This is the end…almost
Yesterday the we finally finished most of the work, and we are now able to use the kitchen as before. We now have electricity for the oven and dishwasher, thanks to Kjetil. There are some small issues left still, but we have plenty of time to fix that before we move in about four or five years 🙂
We are quite happy with the result, needless to say, it raises the standard of the kitchen _quite_ a bit

After a long day of work, kitchen work and a bit more than an hour of spinning at SATS, the quickest option to get food was….a grandiosa … to bad that was the first thing to be done in the oven…but, I needed the food…

Tour description of Melkøya

In our neighboring country Sweden, they have issues off course, who has not? But…
Bara Bröst is not committed to any political or religious views.
We demand:
- That women should be allowed to be topless in situations where it is accepted for men to be topless.
- That the breast should not be considered to be a part of the female genitalia.
- That the gender discriminating rules at the swimming pools are removed.
- That the norms that discriminats against women are worked with in schools and at workplaces and so on.
- That the politicians take their responsibility and act in this question.
http://barabrost.blogg.se/ and…found it at http://www.vg.no off course 🙂
Don’t want to be picky, but in my opinion they have a bit bigger issues in for instance Iran /2007/09/22/female_discriminating_laws_in_iran
Renovation of the kitchen – light at the end of the tunnel
Now we are almost there. Today the plumber has been here, so tomorrow morning we are allowed to use the water in the kitchen, which in fact makes it a real kitchen. Right now we still lack the tiles above the bench and we need electricity for the dishwasher and the oven.
An advice from me to you by the way, it is no problem to buy a kitchen from IKEA, BUT – do not buy anything related with water from them. The plumber was not impressed with the plumbing made available, different sizes, he actually needed to secure it with duck tape (to be 100% safe), but as he said: “if you buy it from ORAS for instance, they fit with the correct size, at least I can get you the correct size of plumbing…from IKEA, I can’t!”
Anyhow, here are the pictures from our kitchen pr. today

Robert Plant and Allison Krauss – Raising Sand
Elin bought me this cd, since it one of the most picturing cd’s of our two different music styles joining forces. Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin singing together with Allison Krauss http://www.alisonkrauss.com who I had never heard of before I meet Elin.
