From last Sunday until Wednesday I was in Stuttgart attending a two day meeting. But since I had some time to spend on Monday my colleague and I went on two factory tours. The first tour was at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen. Read more about it at this page on MB US’ site http://www.mbusa.com/brand/container.jsp?/edp/program/pickup/factory_tour_page.jsp&menu=2_1. The next one, and by the way the most interesting was at Zuffenhausen – the Porsche plant. Not because of the fact that is was Porsche, but mainly because the Porsche plant isn’t nearly that big, which gives you the opportunity to get much closer to the production line. Read more about it at http://www2.porsche.com/all/tour/?market=uk&path=home/about/tour/intro

Chef was supposed to marry a succubus
On todays episode of South Park chef almost married a succubus, a woman sent from hell to such out his life out. To find out more about this episode, read http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-344/epid-2450/. I did a search for succubus on the Internet, and discovered that the legend of the succubus is “true”…
…Well, the succubus is a demon from legend that supposedly preys on mortal men while he sleeps; a sexual vampire of sorts. The actual name has its origins from late Latin- succuba meaning prostitute, which in turn comes from medieval Latin sub cubaire meaning ‘that which lies beneath’. The male version is the incubus (from Latin- ‘that which lies above’). There are some sources who claim that the succubus and the incubus are one and the same creature who can change form at will to prey on mortals…
read it all at http://www.monster.gemsoft.co.uk/Iniquity/demonology.html, and then I learned something even more interesting as well, namely what the name of the band Incubus means…it’s the male version of the succubus…

EMI Gull – Åge Aleksandersen
Just had to buy a collection of Åge Aleksandersen, because on saturday when Espen and I was out skiing we had such fun that we started singing the song “Leva Livet”. So when Espen stumbeled over the CD when we stopped by Shell later that night I had to buy it. 99.5, what a bargaing! Sorry, no pictures of the cover…instead a picture of Åge riding the motorbike 🙂

A bit coocky maybe…
LOL – quite coocky bandname if you ask me “Future leaders of the world” http://www.futureleadersoftheworld.com/

Quote – Homer Simpson
«- I went to the record store today and they played all this music I’ve never heard of. It was like the store had gone crazy. I used to rock and roll all night and party every day. Then it was every other day. Now I’m lucky if I can find half an hour a week in which to get funky.»
