Windows tries to take control!
Was doing some webstuff on my computer, and for that reason I needed to create a .htaccess (http://apache-server.com/tutorials/ATusing-htaccess.html). I edited an old one in Notepad, before saving it into the appropriate directory. Guess what, it insisted on naming it .htaccess.txt. Ok, no problem, I just press F2 to rename it…but NO! Windows said NO! “You have to give a filename!”. But, no – the file must be called .htaccess. What to do, okei, use the command prompt and the by using the command ‘rename’ it worked…
