Marilyn Manson, ‘Portrait of an American Family’ (1994)
Parts of it cool, other not…
There is one window in our house that has been a real pain to fully clean. We have double glass and needs to open them. And the middle window on the guest room is a hard one, since we need to lift it so that it gets horizontal, and then take it off the hinges. Impossible from inside and risky business using a ladder. But thanks to the 2018 drought I can drive the tractor on the lawn without leaving any traces, so using the multitool of them all – the front loader and pallet I had all the safety I needed to hold the window while Elin knocked it off the hinges. As seen on the picture, even washing the window requires more than two hands.
Soundgarden, ‘Louder Than Love’ (1989)
I was huge fan of Soundgarden back in the days, but this album not my fav. But, it is Soundgarden…
Well, “Cult of personality” is a song I remember and also enjoy, but … the whole album, was this really metal?
Last Saturday, me and the boys went to see Elin and the rest of her band Åkerland. Not to often I get to see Elin play live since I need to be home taking care of the kids, but since they now did play at daytime we could all go. We all enjoyed it a lot!
Venom, ‘Welcome to Hell’ (1981)
Title of the album: Welcome to hell, title of first song:”Sons of Satan”…quite depressive…but I did listen to the album while outside working in the garden and it was in fact not that bad. Did actually rewind and played some of the songs a couple of times more .
