Changing the drive belt on the flail mower
Me and my father pretty happy after having been able to fit the middle drive belt on the flail mower. The outer ones was pretty straight forward, those we could manage to fit together by hand, but the middle one was to heavy. So, we fitted it as much as we could by hand, then my father kept it in position using a long plank – safety always first – then I started the PTO. The tractor struggled a little bit, just to confirm that we would never have been able to do it by hand, and then…smack!! The belt fitted like a glove!!
Holmenkollstafetten and running home
Last Saturday I ran the 7’th leg of Holmenkollstafetten together with my colleagues from KLP IT.
When done I took the train to Fetsund and ran home from there. Finally got to see Bjønnehiet, the bears den. No bears, only a lot of signs.
The stats. I did expect it to be longer, if asking my legs, they hated it. No good!

Firewood 2018 – Getting it home
Last Sunday I spent a couple of hours driving the firewood home after having cleared the edge of the field together with my neighbour Thomas. Spring is here, so the roads are all cleared from snow, so I could unmount the snowchains of the tractor.
But, without chains I was unable to get uphill in order to turn the tractor downhill and load the wood. So I needed help from Thomas and his John Deere.
And talking about John Deere, apparanlty the deers have had a party
All done, now head home
