Call in the cavalry, in other words – me!

Took a walk earlier today. up to where the forestry machine is currently working, Bjønnemyra. Did post a picture from my preparations earlier this year “Logging preparations – the forest road” The picture below is taken today at almost the same spot

Here are some more “before” pics, from the first they when the machine started logging.

Then later, when home they did call me and asked if I could help them out with one big tree, a great Norwegian spruce to big for the forestry machine to safely cut down. Simply because this particular machine is the smallest one, not suited for threes of that size. And since that being the only one here, it was not a problem until the last day.

I did cut while the machine used the crane to make sure that the three did not fall in the wrong direction. I must admit that I feared that I had to do it all by myself, while the professionals where watching…

Cold and sun!!

Took this picture last Monday. Something strange lightning up the courtyard.

And in the afternoon when heading home after work. Picking up the car at Fetsund, spring in February. Clear blue sky and sun

But note! 7 degrees, pretty warm and how it should be in February according to my standards.

New tires

Had a puncture on Sunday, so today I drove to Høland Gummiservice, hoping that I would not get a flat tyre before arriving there. Luckily no problem, and after about an hour I could head home again.
