This seasons forest tending project
On Saturday I started this winters forest tending project. The first day was spent just to make way for the tractor which was pretty much work, a lot of small trees that I needed to get out of the way
The red dot showing how far I got before I had to turn around. For those who know the area, the brown dot to the left is the water tower, Vanntårnet.
Baking bread with a slight taste of beer
Had three bottles of Tuborg in the cellar which I knew that I never would drink
Confirmed by the date, they have been downstairs for a while, but still, no issue when baking bread. Made them taste even better.
My latest book – War and Peace Vol I, Leo Tolstoj
Finished War and Peace volume I. All volumes was given to my partens in-law when the got married. This version was translated back in the 60’s to Norwegian Nynorsk and that makes it even harder, but halfway through the book it got easier. I must admit that I get a bit confused from time to time due to all the details, but all in all it is interesting to read. And I have decided to start reading volume II and postpone volume IV of the new book about Halvor Skramstad written by Jon Michelet (which I am really looking forward to, so I have to hurry up finishing the last three volumes of War and Peace).
WebSphere admin console unavailable due to SRVE0232E: Internal Server Error
Since Google did not return any hits for the error we had on one of our servers I add it here for future references. The error logged in SystemOut.log was

It is hard being a man
Just had a shower, about to shave myself, just grabbed the box with shaving gel and when applying it I spotted the box with moisturiser. So therefore my brain immediately switched from “apply only where needed to shave” to “apply all over”.
A rabbit
Couple of days ago we where all out walking in the forest when we found this rabbit, all carved out of wood. Someone has had a lot of spare time, I guess while out hunting sitting there waiting for some deer to pass by.
Exploring the neighbourhood
Yesterday I decided to explore Lunderåsen. Not the best place for a run due to forestry work done there last winter. A lot of branches and ruts to pass, but give it a year or two and it should be fine again.
At the northern end of Lunderåsen, view towards Sæterhøgda.
At Sæterhøgda, the terrain was execellent for running here.

This year Christmas Eve was not as wet as two years ago, but still…wet. Our farm road is really soaked with ruts as well.

The fans…hopefully they will consider this as the icing on the cake and we can get on with our lives without the constant nagging of playing Marcus and Martinus every time when driving the car and let me decide what music to play.
