A serious accident has left the Peugeot Sport team in mourning this Sunday morning during the last leg of the Wales Rally GB. Markko Martin left the route shortly after the start of the second stage of the day and hit a tree on the right hand side of the car, mortally wounding his co-driver Michael Park. Peugeot Sport’s Director, Jean-Pierre Nicolas, with the agreement of Mr. Frederic Saint-Geours, Managing Director of Peugeot, has decided, as a sign of mourning, to withdraw the car of Marcus Gronholm – Timo Rautiainen.

Peugeot Automobiles and Peugeot Sport would like to express their feeling of extreme sadness and deep emotion to the family of Michael Park, known affectionately as Beef.

Petter and I did finally conquer Analen today. We had the ski experience of this season. A lot of powder, marvelous turns – juhu!!!

This evening, me, Espen and Loy attended to a ski preparation course…so now you should all expect the unexpected…

My left foot after running Nordmarkstraveren last weekend

Marcello, I have tried Curling – it was to easy. Thoose of you not able to read Norwegian have to excuse me for this one, but I have to post text from my corporations intranet. But if you look at the picture my guess is that you will get the point anyhow…For those of you totally not in to curling I will tell you that the woman on the picture is Dordi Nordy. Dordi has the following stats:

• Record 15 World Championships – winning Gold in 1990 and ’91
• Won World silver in ’89 and ’97, with six bronze medals
• Four Olympic appearances winning bronze in ’88 and silver in ’92

…I en slik sammenheng blir det egentlig helt feil å fokusere på vinnerlaget i curling-konkurransen. Når det likevel blir fokus på vinnerlaget i curling, kommer det først og fremst av den tøffe konkurransen som var blant de 12 lagene som deltok. Fokusen på curling har ingen sammenheng med at InfoPortalens redaktør selv deltok på det allerede mye omtalte vinnerlaget i kick-off’ets curlingkonkurranse, sammen med Rune, Christian og Bent! – Norge er et av verdens fremste curlingland. Å vinne i Norge, betyr i prinsippet å vinne VM, sa en av de oppstemte seierherrene etter premieutdelingen….
